SHINE YOUR LIGHT: Christ says, "YOU are the Light! SHINE YOUR LIGHT: Christ says, "YOU are the Light!" He doesn't say, "He is the Light or He is the only light". He specifically says -- "YOU ARE!" . Notice that Christ also says, "Let your light shine so that YOUR FATHER is glorified." He doesn't say "let your light shine so that MY FATHER is glorified." He specifically says, "YOUR FATHER!!" These are VERY IMPORTANT nuances to pay attention to and be aware of because Christ came to remind us that WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN. . Christ came to WAKE US UP! Christ came to RAISE OUR CONSCIOUSNESS. He came to help humanity evolve and was calling the crowd & those of us reading his words today to remember WHO WE ARE! . Never anywhere does Christ ever say - "I am the only son of God & you are not!" . In fact, in the teaching that this quote is taken from (The Sermon on the Mountain), Christ refers to God 16+ times as "YOUR FATHER!!!" . This repetition of "YOUR FATHER" was to help the crowd, and us, remember our TRUE INNER DIVINITY! . So, whenever you read this teaching of Jesus, read it as if he is speaking to YOU DIRECTLY and let the "YOUR FATHER" statements awaken you to the Truth of who you are and where you have come from. . So remember to take some time each day to SEEK & KNOW THYSELF!! Saint Catherine's Monastery, is one of the oldest Saint Catherine's Monastery, is one of the oldest still running monasteries. It is an Eastern Orthodox monastery located on the Sinai Peninsula. It lies at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai (the mountain of Moses), near the town of Saint Catherine, in Egypt. . Mount Sinai is the mountain upon which Moses communed with God and received the 10 commandments. The monastery itself is supposedly built around the burning bush seen by Moses and which you can see when you enter inside. The library at Saint Catherine's is the oldest continually operating library in the world. . This is one of the stops where I will be taking a group during our Egypt Retreat in September. .
