This class is for anyone looking to learn about Mindfulness Meditation Techniques or for any Yoga/Meditation teachers who are
looking to know more about mindfulness practices and how they can be incorporated into your classes.
“Mindfulness” has become something of a buzzword & movement within our modern society. Mindfulness techniques are now
being offered in our school systems in order to give children the tools needed to cope with the stresses of society; being taught at
major corporations to help employees deal with workplace stress and exhaustion; it is being taught in prisons; and even to our
soldiers – both at home & abroad.
Mindfulness is a meditation practice that trains our minds to be present & aware. The mindfulness technique is not about getting
somewhere else, but instead being fully present to where we are & what we are experiencing. It is cultivating moment-to-moment
awareness, and just being with whatever arises. It is a way of experiencing & allowing the moment to be as it is, without judging it
or adding on to it.
