During this event you will learn an ancient healing modality which belongs to a specialized category of practices known as Tantra & believed to be the GRANDFATHER OF REIKI!
This Tibetan Buddhist healing modality is very effective & powerful in resolving medical and health problems for our selves & others. In fact, the healing power & blessings are so strong that the Medicine Buddha practice is the THE HEART of the Tibetan Medicine & all Tibetan physicians are taught & initiated into this practice. And therefore, this practice is very beneficial and a compliment to any healing work you already do!
This practice helps align you with your inner potential & the healing aspect within you which is your true nature – referred to as your Buddha-nature. Connection helps you experience the pure nature of your mind, which allows for the healing the diseases of yourself & others.
Through the Empowerment, which is a beautiful, guided meditation, you’ll receive a very powerful blessing because the transmission comes from an unbroken lineage which carries the blessing of the Buddha & all the lamas from whom the lineage is received which gives the recipient even more power.
Each day consists of teachings & meditations which will awaken the healer within you. The empowerment begins on Saturday with an opening ceremony in which we dedicate our learning to ourselves or someone we wish healing for. We will then be initiated into the Mantra & have our first teaching on the practice in the afternoon. Sunday, will give us an opportunity to fully engage in an intensive practice of this special & centuries old healing meditation modality, as well as, learn more about the method.
According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the Medicine Buddha Mantra is more precious than skies of gold, diamonds & jewels—this wealth means nothing because it can’t purify us. The Medicine Buddha mantra is much more precious because it leaves imprints of the path to enlightenment in your mind; it helps you to have realizations leading to enlightenment; it purifies negative karma helping you never to be reborn in the lower realms, and allows you to be of service to other beings by helping to alleviate them of suffering, sickness, illness, and disease.
