Metta’ is a Pali (language of Northern India) word which translates into “Loving-kindness”. The Metta Meditation practice was taught by the Buddha as a way to develop altruistic selfless love and compassion.
During this session, meditation teacher, Anthony Profeta will guide us through a lovingkindness meditation while playing the Singing Bowls.
The tones of the singing bowls will help to shift the brainwaves out of the beta & into the more relaxed & calm alpha and theta brainwave states. This shift will help us connect more deeply to the pure and radiate nature of our mind which will be more beneficial for when we send out the lovingkindness phrases.
According to the Buddha’s teaching, lovingkindness meditation is a powerful practice of “great worldly merit,” that can lead one to full enlightenment.
Once you sign up you will be sent a link 30 minutes before the class.

You can watch this at your convenience or as many times as you wish within that 24hr period.
Tips for your enjoyment:
1. Find a quiet space
2. Be comfortable — you may sit or lie down, whatever feels right to you. If you get uncomfortable at any time adjust your posture if necessary.
3. Close your eyes or cover them with an eye mask or pillow, dim the lights if you wish. You don’t need to watch the screen.
4. Let a candle or some incense if you wish.
5. For more intimate and immersive experience use headphones or earbuds.
