Sharon Salzberg has been teaching and writing about meditation for over 40 years. She played a large role in bringing meditation practices to the west in the 1970s, and in 1974 cofounded the Insight Meditation Society with Jack Kornfield & Joseph Goldstein. He emphasis is on Vipassana (insight) & Metta (loving-kindness). She is also a NY times best-selling author and her books—including Lovingkindness, Faith, and Real Happiness— explain how to incorporate meditation into our everyday life.
